The Center for Protein Therapeutics is located within the New York State Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics & Life Sciences, Buffalo, New York

The mission of the Center for Protein Therapeutics is to advance the application of pharmaceutical sciences in the development of protein drugs.

The Center attempts to achieve this mission through the conduct of leading-edge research and through provision of structured training programs.

Primary areas of research include:

  • Investigation of determinants of protein pharmacokinetics & pharmacodynamics

  • Development of improved bioanalytical methods for quantification of proteins in biological samples

  • Development of improved methods for bioproduct engineering and formulation.

The Center is a facility within the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University at Buffalo.
