Undergraduate Research · Accelerometer Design
Design of a mechanically driven piezoelectric accelerometer that converts linear motion through a spring-loaded rack-and-pinion mechanism. Rotating magnets pluck a piezoelectric beam, and the time interval between voltage spikes is used to estimate acceleration.
