In most cases problem sets are due on Thursday of each week, but check the due-date on the top of each set to be sure. Solutions may be submitted in class, or at my office any time before 5pm. Problem solutions will be made available in Makin' Copies, in the UB Commons.
Many problems will require use of a computer for their solution. You may use whatever software you prefer to solve these problems. Spreadsheets, Maple or Mathematica, or programming in Fortran, C, or Java are all reasonable choices. However, class examples and problem solutions will be done with Maple.
