Dr. Hoi Kei (Cecilia) Lon obtained her B.S. / M.S. degree in 2008 and Ph.D. degree in 2014 in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University at Buffalo. During her Ph.D. years, Cecilia has worked on three projects in the Center for Protein Therapeutics where she investigated the pharmacokinetics and effects of three protein therapeutics (etanercept, anakinra, and abatacept) in collagen-induced arthritic rats, an animal model for rheumatoid arthritis. She recently joined AbbVie, Inc. in Chicago, IL as a senior clinical pharmacokineticist.
