    July 2020: Our paper "LeTera: Stochastic Beam Control Through ESN Learning in Terahertz-Band Wireless UAV Networks" won the Best Paper Award Runner-up on the 4th IEEE INFOCOM Workshop on Wireless Communications and Networking in Extreme Environments (WCNEE), Toronto, Canada, July 2020.


    May 2020: Our paper on statistical interference modeling and distributed stochastic channel access in underwater acoustic networks will be published in IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing.


    April 2020: WINGS Lab PhD student Maxwell Mcmanus was selected to participate in the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) 2020 Summer Visiting Faculty Research Program (VFRP) for his research on wireless network security.


    March 2020: Our work on self-organizing massive-MIMO drone networks will be published in IEEE/ACM Transactions on Networking.


    March 2020: Delighted to introduce FlyTera, a framework for joint spectrum access and flight control in THz-enabled wireless drone networks. This work will be presented on IEEE SECON 2020.


    Jan. 2020: Our research "DeepWave" is supported by the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) to design, based on deep machine learning technologies, high-throughput and secure wireless networks in the presence of advanced adversary attacks.


    Dec. 2019: Our work "SwarmControl" will be presented on IEEE INFOCOM 2020. SwarmControl provides an automated distributed control framework for self-optimizing drone networks, rooted from our recently established results on principled software-defined wireless networking (WNOS, ACM MobiHoc 2018).     Dec. 2019: Our work "CoBeam" will be presented on IEEE INFOCOM 2020. CoBeam proposes a beamforming-based spectrum sharing technology with zero cross-technology signaling for 5G wireless networks. [paper]


    Nov. 2019: Our work "UBSpot" will be presented on IEEE RWS: IoT and the mmWave Frontier 2020. UBSpot is a universal broadband flying hotspot experimental testbed toward programmable aerial-ground wireless networks.
