Jane Bliss Taylor

Jane Bliss Taylor received her BS (1920) and Masters degrees (1937) from Columbia University. She was chair of the speech correction clinic at Hunter College where she also was an instructor in the Department of Speech and Dramatics (1937-1946). In 1925 Taylor was among the 25 charter members of Academy of Speech Correction, the precursor of ASHA. She served on the Committee on Education for that organization between the years of 1930 and 1939. She was Chair of the Speech Correction Clinic at Hunter College from 1937 to 1946.

Taylor was invited by President Hoover to be a delegate to the White House 'Conference on Child Health and Protection” held in Washington from November 19 to November 22, 1930.
