During the semester, I’ll be sending you weekly emails and also posting them on UB Learns.
As you complete activities, you will earn philosophy experience points that will determine your final grade in the course.
You initially have 5 philosopher’s stones to use. You will have opportunities to earn even more!
Readings are assigned for most weeks of class, which you are expected to read and think about.
Each week, you will work with your classmates on Perusall to collaboratively annotate the assigned readings.
This course challenges each of us to work together in actively practicing philosophy.
Throughout the semester, you will be assigned tasks that will prepare for life after graduation.
You will conduct “experiments” that connect philosophy to the real world and your experiences to philosophy.
