You initially have 3 philosopher’s stones to use during this course. You will earn more stones based on your performance on each unit exam and your weekly quiz grades.
As you complete Ethics! activities, you will earn philosophy experience points that will determine your final grade in the course.
This course consists of 28 modules across 6 units. Each module will cover a specific topic within ethics.
You choose how to engage with your classmates: on Perusall (with social annotations of the readings) and/or on Twitter (with more general discussion posts).
Each course module will have two types of quizzes: Quizzes embedded into my Panopto videos and module quizzes posted on UB Learns.
At the end of each unit, there will be a “take-home” unit exam. These are not cumulative, focusing primarily on new material.
