New Spectrum Technologies (May 2020): Our paper on statistical interference modeling and distributed stochastic channel access in underwater acoustic networks will be published in IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing.

Wireless Network Security (April 2020): WINGS Lab PhD student Maxwell Mcmanus was selected to participate in the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) 2020 Summer Visiting Faculty (Student) Research Program (VFRP) to work on wireless network security.

New Spectrum Technologies (March 2020): WINGS Lab work on self-organizing massive-MIMO drone networks will be published in IEEE/ACM Transactions on Networking.

New Spectrum Technologies (March 2020): WINGS Lab FlyTera paper will be presented at IEEE SECON 2020. FlyTera is a new framework for joint spectrum access and flight control in THz-enabled wireless drone networks.

Network Design Automation (Dec. 2019): WINGS Lab work "SwarmControl" will be presented on IEEE INFOCOM 2020. SwarmControl provides an automated distributed control framework for self-optimizing drone networks, rooted from our recently established results on principled software-defined wireless networking.


I am a Ph.D. student and research assistant at SUNY at Buffalo. I attended City Honors High School and graduated with an Advanced Regents Diploma with Honors, an Advanced Placement (AP) Scholar Award, and an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma. I moved on to attend SUNY at Buffalo (UB) Honors College with a Presidential Scholarship. While attending UB, I studied abroad at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, focusing on work in telecommunications. I graduated with the B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Summa Cum Laude<\i>, (GPA: 3.75) from UB in 2019, and received the M.S. in Electrical Engineering (GPA: 4.00) in 2021. My research interests are in wireless network security, machine learning, and spectrum sharing technologies.
