FcRn Inhibitor Project

This project has been funded by a grant from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases of the National Institutes of Health (project: AI60687).

The main aims of the initial project were: (a) to evaluate the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of a model FcRn inhibitor in animal models of immune thrombocytopenia, (b) to investigate the influence of FcRn inhibitors on the tissue distribution of IgG, (c) to develop inhibitors of human FcRn, and (d) to evaluate the effects of FcRn inhibitors on the transport of human IgG.
