You initially have 3 philosopher’s stones to use during this course. You will earn more based on your social annotations and class participation.
As you complete activities in this course, you will earn negotiation experience points that will determine your final grade in the course.
Readings are assigned for most class meetings, which you are expected to have read and thought about before we meet.
You will work with your classmates on Perusall to collaboratively annotate the assigned readings.
To prepare for the in-class negotiations, you will organize your thoughts about new course concepts and consider how you might apply them.
There will be opportunities for you to practice the various negotiation and conflict resolution strategies presented in the readings and discussed during class.
This course challenges each of us to work together in the difficult process of negotiation and conflict resolution.
Throughout the course, you’ll be asked to reflect on how course material connects to your own experiences of conflict and negotiation.
