Mission

Our group develops novel biophysics modeling and data processing in MRI to quantify clinically relevant tissue properties, such as cerebral oxygenation, and uses our technologies in neurologic disorders, including stroke, multiple sclerosis, brain tumor, and Alzheimer's disease, to investigate their causes, progress, and therapeutic targets.

On April 2024, our lab received a NIH R01 grant (R01 NS136368):
MRI-Based Quantitative Mapping of Oxygen Extraction Fraction in MS.

On August 2023, our lab received a NIH R00 award (K99/R00 NS123229):
Development and Validation of MRI mapping of brain oxygen metabolism for clinical use.

On September 2022, our lab started on September 2022.
