hello!

I'm Jen. I'm currently a PhD candidate in linguistics at the University at Buffalo, where my coursework concentration was in morphosyntax and my research is in experimental sociophonetics. I'm interested in sociolinguistics and its overlap with other linguistic subfields, as well as variation and linguistic perception. You can read more about my research here.

I was born and raised in Michigan. I love traveling, cooking, creative writing, photography, volunteering and being with friends and family. My favorite color is teal.
