Directions to the Ramada Hotel and Conference Center
The
Ramada Hotel and Conference Center is located a few minutes drive from the North Campus of the University at Buffalo (the conference site). Official driving directions and travel information for the University at Buffalo (North Campus) are available here.

From Points West (Windsor, London, Guelph, Waterloo, Hamilton) & Toronto
Proceed to the QEW Niagara towards St. Catharines. You may then enter the US via either Queenston (Highway 405) or Fort Erie (QEW).

Entry into the US via Queenston
From the QEW take Highway 405 to the US Border. Follow I-190 to exit 16. Follow I-290 East and continue to exit 5 for Millersport Highway North (Route 263). Follow Millersport Highway North passing SUNY Buffalo (it will be on your left) until you reach North Forest Road at a traffic light (ca. 3 km). Turn left onto North Forest Road and the Ramada is about 0.5 km on the left.

Entry into the US via Fort Erie
Continue on the QEW to Fort Erie. After crossing into the US keep left and follow signs for I-190 North. Take exit 16 to I-290 East and continue to exit 5 for Millersport Highway North (Route 263). Follow Millersport Highway North passing SUNY Buffalo (it will be on your left) until you reach North Forest Road at a traffic light (ca. 3 km). Turn left onto North Forest Road and the Ramada is about 0.5 km on the left.


Niagara Bridge Crossing Information
It is highly recommended that upon approach to the Niagara Region you call the Niagara Falls Bridge Commission traffic update line at 1-800-715-6722 in order to determine the current wait time at the various bridges.


From Points East (Montreal, Ottawa, Rochester, Syracuse)
Enter the US via the Thousand Islands Bridge and follow I-81 South to Syracuse. From Syracuse follow I-90 West (NYS Thruway) to I-290 West (towards Niagara Falls). Follow I-290 West to exit 5 for Millersport Highway North (Route 263). Follow Millersport Highway North passing SUNY Buffalo (it will be on your left) until you reach North Forest Road at a traffic light (ca. 3 km). Turn left onto North Forest Road and the Ramada is about 0.5 km on the left.

From Great Lakes/Ohio
Take I-90 East to New York where it becomes the Thruway. Take exit 50 to I-290 West (towards Niagara Falls). Follow I-290 West to exit 5 for Millersport Highway North (Route 263). Follow Millersport Highway North passing SUNY Buffalo (it will be on your left) until you reach North Forest Road at a traffic light (ca. 3 km). Turn left onto North Forest Road and the Ramada is about 0.5 km on the left.

Directions from the Ramada Hotel to the University at Buffalo North Campus
Turn left out of the Ramada Hotel and at the first light turn left onto John James Audubon Parkway. Keep in the left hand lane. At the second full traffic light (ca. 1 km) turn left onto Hamilton Road which leads into the main part of the North Campus. At the stop sign turn right onto White Road and then take the first left into the Visitor Parking Lot. You will want to park in the far left hand side of this lot (marked Fronczak B Lot on the campus maps) in order to be as close to the conference site (Knox Lecture Hall) as possible.


IF YOU WALK TO THE CONFERENCE SITE FROM THE RAMADA HOTEL, PLEASE USE EXTREME CAUTION.
AUDUBON PARKWAY IS A LARGE 4-LANE HIGHWAY: DRIVERS TEND TO GO PRETTY FAST AND MAY NOT BE AWARE OF PEDESTRIANS!!


Parking
Parking on the North Campus is FREE on weekends. Please park in the far left portion of the Fronczak Visitor Parking Lot (marked Fronczak B Lot on the campus maps).

Conference
Site
The lectures will be held in Room 104 of Knox Lecture Hall on the North Campus of the University at Buffalo (building 27 on the campus maps).
The poster session will be held in the upper rotunda area of Knox Lecture Hall.
