Dr. Dongweon Song obtained
his Ph.D. degree in the department of Molecular Pharmacology and
Cancer Therapeutics, Roswell Park Cancer Institute Graduate
Division, SUNY at Buffalo. Prior to joining the Center for
Protein Therapeutics (CPT) post-doctoral program, he served as a
post-doctoral research fellow in the GI Oncology Drug
Development program, The Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer
Center at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. While in the Balthasar Lab, Song explored the mechanism of action of
intravenous immunoglobulins (IVIG) and defining the
pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics of IVIG in immune
thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP). |
