The Galileo Group at the East West Center


In June of 1973 Woelfel, while still Assistant Professor at Michigan State, went to the Communication Institute at the East West Center in Honolulu as a Senior Fellow on the Communication Theory from Eastern and Western Perpectives project under D. Lawrence Kincaid. Over the next seven years, Woelfel returned six times for extended periods and George Barnett and Rick Holmes also spent considerable time at EWCI.
