Oral Presentations
Oral presentations will be 20 minutes in length, with 15 minutes for the talk and 5 minutes for questions.
In order to expedite the program, presentations will be made using the official POMS computers that will be available in the lecture hall. Please bring your presentation as a PowerPoint file (.ppt or .pptx format) on a CD or a USB flash drive. Presentations may also be submitted to us via email.
PC presentations will be made from the built in computer on the podium equipped with PowerPoint 2007. Files may be in the .ppt or the .pptx format.
Mac presentations will be made from the POMS Mac laptop equipped with PowerPoint 2008 for Mac. Files may be in the .ppt or the .pptx format.
If you plan to use software other than PowerPoint or have any other special presentation requirements, please contact us IN ADVANCE at poms2009@gmail.com.
Poster Presentations
Posters must be no larger than 48" wide x 36" tall. They should be mounted on the appropriate numbered poster board before the lunch break on Saturday. Pins will be provided.
