Panos Anastasopoulos is currently an Assistant Professor of Civil, Structural, and Environmental Engineering at the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York. He is also founder and director of the Engineering Statistics and Econometrics research laboratory, and associate director of the Institute for Sustainable Transportation and Logistics. His research interests are in statistical/econometric modeling, methods and applications in engineering problems, transportation safety, reliability/sustainability of infrastructure systems, crisis management, public-private partnerships, travel demand and behavior, and engineering economics.
