Dr. Dhaval Shah completed his Ph.D. training in the
Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at University at Buffalo, The
State University of New York. Dhaval obtained his Bachelors in
Pharmacy (B. Pharm.) degree from K.B. Institute of Pharmaceutical
Education and research (http://www.kbiper.org/) in 2002. He received
his M.S. in the field of Drug Delivery from the Department of
Pharmaceutics at the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education
and Research (http://www.niper.nic.in/) in 2003. Dhaval joined the
North Dakota State University (http://www.ndsu.nodak.edu/) as a
Ph.D. student in 2004 and transferred to the Ph.D. program at SUNY
Buffalo in 2005. Dhaval is an Ex-President of the departmental
Graduate Student Association and is a former member of Deans' Student
Ambassador Program. Dhaval’s Ph.D. dissertation research
work involved the development and evaluation of pharmacokinetic
strategies to improve the safety and the efficacy of Intraperitoneal
(IP) chemotherapy.
