We will spend a couple of weeks in Cape Town devoted to learning about the myriad histories, cultures and peoples that compose the complex tapestry of South Africa, the "Rainbow Nation."
In addition, we will make numeorus field trips around the region to complement our readings and class discussions. Make yourself at home!

Cape Town is the oldest city in South Africa and the cradle of the nation. It was founded as a Dutch supply station in 1652 and is today home to over 3m people.
