  Montage is the combination, repetition and overlap of images. Since the period between 1919-1942, both photographic and cinematic practice compositing of visual fragments still continues.

Today, digital montage is dynamic in space as well as time. In 2001 Lev Manovich stated that the “logic of replacement, characteristic of cinema, gives way to the logic of addition and coexistence,” in the digital media.

In our development of the streaming montage, the intention was to choreograph specific moments within each space, so that dominating instances suddenly appear within the newly compose third space .
