Floors in all accessible rooms and spaces must be stable, firm, and slip-resistant.
 
Section 4.5.3
 
If carpet or carpet tile is used on the floor,  it must be securely attached.
 
Use a low pile type of carpet with low dense pile and a firm pad or no pad.
 
Identifying signs must be tactile as well as visual.
