Undergraduate Internships in Planetary Science

The Lunar and Planetary Institute hosts a summer undergraduate internship every year.

Applications are typically due in January or February.

NASA’s Solar System Workings Division runs a summer internship where qualified undergrads are paired with NASA mentors.

It used to be called the Planetary Geology and Geophysics Undergraduate Research Program (PGGURP), but now we call it the

Summer Undergraduate Program in Planetary Research (SUPPR)—pronounced “super.” Dr. G. has been leading this program

since coming to UB in 1998.
