Broccoli Salad
1 lg head broccoli (1 lb.) cut in to pieces
1/2 red onion
8 slices bacon, fried crisp
In a food processor, chop the bacon fine, then remove to a large bowl. Process the onion until fine-chopped, then remove to the bowl. Process the broccoli, half at a time if necessary, until fine-chopped.
In a small bowl, stir together the dressing:
1 c. mayonnaise
3 T vinegar
1/2 c. sugar
Add 3/4 c. raisins to the large bowl with the chopped items, and stir in the dressing. Can be served immediately.
