I am an Assistant Professor of Management Science and Systems in the School of Management at the University at Buffalo (UB). I completed my PhD in industrial engineering (operations research) at UB in 2023. I am married with one son (Jack; 4 years old) and one daughter (Ellie; 1 year old), and love spending my free time with them. Research

I am interested in using operations research and empirical methods to understand and improve decision-making in areas such as security and defense, online platforms, and healthcare. My research has been funded by the U.S. National Science Foundation, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and the U.S. Department of Defense.

Teaching

My teaching interests lie in the fields of analytics, operations research, and information systems. I enjoy teaching the theoretical underpinnings of these fields, and am also passionate about teaching in a practice-oriented manner where students understand the value of the skills they learn across the business and management domains.

In Spring 2026, I will be teaching 1 section of MGS 616 (Predictive Analytics) online. In Fall 2026, I will be teaching 2 sections of MGQ 608 (Statistical Analysis for Managers).
