Kyle Hunt

About Me

I am an Assistant Professor of Management Science and Systems in the School of Management at the University at Buffalo (UB). I completed my PhD in industrial engineering at UB in 2023, where my research utilized techniques from operations research, game theory, and machine learning to address problems in homeland security and humanitarian management. I am married with a three-year-old son, and enjoy spending time with them and our (large) extended families. My contact information and CV can be found on the next tab - don't hesitate to reach out!

Teaching

In Spring 2024, I will be teaching MGS 616 (Predictive Analytics).

My teaching interests lie in the fields of analytics, operations research, and information systems. While I enjoy teaching the theoretical underpinnings of these fields, I am also passionate about teaching in a practice-oriented manner in which students understand the value of the skills they learn across the business and engineering domains.
