Research

Within my research, I am most interested in the implementation of operations research, game theory, machine learning, and decision analysis methodologies to address real-world problems. My active projects focus on modeling information disclosure strategies related to defensive investments, adopting new technologies to enhance counterterrorism measures, and controlling the spread of misinformation on social media. I am passionate about projects that require multidisciplinary approaches to address real-world problems. I currently collaborate with social scientists to tackle problems within the homeland security/defense domains.

Teaching

During the Spring 2023 semester, I am teaching 2 sections of MGS 616 (Predictive Analytics) and 2 sections of MGS 614 (Systems Analysis & Design).

My teaching interests lie in the fields of analytics, operations research, information systems, and decision analysis. While I enjoy teaching the theoretical underpinnings of these fields, I am also passionate about teaching in a practice-oriented manner in which students understand the value of the skills they learn across the business and engineering domains.
