Background
During summer 2003, a cooperative chemical analysis study of LewPort campus soils will be done with oversight from the UB Environment and Society Institute (UB-ESI). Public input from parents, staff, students and community members is sought to help guide the design of the study (i.e. where to look and what potential species to look for). Three public meetings are planned and three other times are available for one on one questions and answers with ESI staff (Dr. Joe Gardella, Steven Cosme, David Manns, Gaurav Sinha and Gunwha Oh) and the LewPort staff liaison, Sarah Muscarella (754-8281 X2221). Ann Roberts and Monica Barner will be available for public input as part of a stakeholders listening committee.
