Foad Hajiaghajani

I am a Ph.D. Candidate at Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), in the State University of New York at Buffalo, working under supervision of Prof. Chunming Qiao. I study and develop systems/solutions for connected and self-driving cars and infrastructure with a focus on cooperative perception and data exchage. I am highly interested in sensor fusion, cooperative self-driving systems and network protocol design for vehicular networks.

I have been working with the team at Laboratory for Advanced Network Design, Evaluation and Research (LANDER) in CSE Dept, University at Buffalo - the instrument for Connected and Autonomous Vehicle Evaluation and Experimentation 2 (iCAVE2) project. I have also been part of and actively collaborating with UB's Connected and Autonomous Vehicle Applications and Systems (CAVAS), one of the leading academic groups in designing, developing and evaluating technologies for connected and automated driving systems in the United States.
