Conference Venue

The HPSG conference and the ECBAE workshop will be held in collocation with the 2023 LSA Summer Institute, at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

The conference will be held in hybrid mode. A connection link to Zoom will be provided to registrants the day before, i.e. on 6 July. For those who will attend in person, please find below more details about the conference venue.

For both the HPSG conference and the ECBAE workshop, we will be using ROOM 163, located within the Lincoln Campus Center (1 Campus Center Way, Amherst MA 01003). Once you arrive at the Lincoln Campus Center, you will likely be on the 2nd floor concourse where the Blue Wall dining court and UMass Campus Store are located. You can also access the building through the HotelUMass entrance, which is located on the 3rd floor. The meeting room we will be using (room 163) is on the 1st floor, and can be accessed via escalator and is one of the first rooms as you get off the escalator. Signage will be provided to point you in the right direction as well.

Food

UMass Amherst has been ranked number one in campus food by the Princeton Review for six years running, and has no shortage of spots to eat on campus. The most convenient for you will be the main dining hall at UMass, Worcester Commons (667 N Pleasant St, Amherst, MA 01003), located near the Lincoln Campus Center, which houses both the HPSG conference and the ECBAE workshop. You can eat in the dining halls from 7am-8pm. It operates in an all-you-can-eat buffet style. A meal can be purchased for $10.50, $14.00, and $17.00 for breakfast, lunch, and dinner respectively.
