We built this database for a self-storage facility in Western New York. There are currently three part time employees responsible for unit rentals.  The office is open six days a week and the storage units are accessible seven days a week.  Currently there are four buildings, with one to be added in the next year or two. There are four different unit sizes that are rented out by the month.  Rent is always due on the first of the month.

 

 This database provides a tracking system for customers, units rented, payments, balances, and gate access codes.  The database system creates business value by providing an automated, systematic procedure to help the self-storage facility operate more efficiently.  It provides easy accessibility of information, and it reduces the paperwork.
