of innovative design in drinking fountains The following drinking fountain concepts are designed to accommodate both standing and seated users. If there is more than
one fountain/ cooler on a floor, only 50% have to meet these requirements. Thus, if there was a complying fountain, a unit like that at the right would be acceptable. |

rule insures that people with disabilities who cannot drink from the spout directly still can use the fountain. The flow of water does not have to be exactly parallel. |
