I am a final-year (2016 - present) Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Computer Science at the State University of New York at Buffalo (UB), under the direction of Prof. Wenyao Xu at the Embedded Sensing and Computing (ESC) Lab. I earned my B.S and M.S degrees in Electronic Engineering from Hangzhou Dianzi University (HDU).

My research interests focus on Internet-of-Things (IoT), Cyber-Physical Security, Emerging Technologies and Applications (e.g., Smart Health).

After Graduation (June 2021): I will work as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the CSE department at CU Denver in Fall 2021. I am looking for motivated student researchers (Undergraduate/Ph.D.). Please drop me an email if you have any interests.

[2018.12] E-Eye (ACM SenSys 2018) is the first wireless tool to detect hidden electronics in the field, such as buggs and hiddencameras. A US patent is granted upon this work and licensed to multiple industrial players.

[2018.12] The mRehab team wins the finalist award (5 out of 74 teams) in NYS Department of Health Aging Innovation Competitions (read more).

[2018.10] The research work on "Fingerprinting 3D Printers" (ACM CCS 2018) drives emerging challenges of abusing 3D printers for unethical and criminal activities. Our product PrinTracker receives tremendous attentions from over 50 public media outlets, including VICE , CNET , ZDNet and New Atlas.
