How Hosts are Selected

Principal Investigators (PIs) who are funded through NASA's Planetary Geology and Geophysics Program request an intern by sending an email to the program director (Dr. Tracy Gregg), describing the project in which the intern will participate, and any necessary skills the intern needs to have. The deadline for this request is the same as the deadline for the undergraduate application.

A selection committee meets approximately 2 weeks after receiving applications to best fit student skills with PI needs.
