Volcanoes and lava flows throughout the Solar System

I'm interested in learning how the environment affects volcanic eruptions and their products, so I like to study volcanoes anywhere I can find them. I've examined: evolved lava flows in Peru; young lava flows at mid-ocean ridges; volcanoes on Mars, the Moon, Venus, and Jupiter's Moon Io; active Hawaiian lava flows; and shield volcanoes on the Eastern Snake River Plain. I'm not picky.

Studying volcanic processes throughout the Solar System forces me to have a deep and fundamental understanding: if a model only works on Earth, and fails in other environments, there's something wrong with the model.
