News

July 2022: Our work "OSWireless: Enhancing Automation for Optimizing Intent-Driven Software-Defined Wireless Networks" will be presented at IEEE MASS 2022. OSWireless provides a new control plane for principled programmable wireless networks with flexible network abstraction.


Nov. 2021: Our work CloudRAFT will be presented at the 2nd IEEE International Workshop on Communication and Networking for Swarms Robotics (RoboCom), Jan. 2022. CloudRAFT is a new cloud-based framework for remote experimentation for wireless networks.


Oct. 2021: Our work "ESN Reinforcement Learning for Spectrum and Flight Control in THz-Enabled Drone Networks" will be published in IEEE/ACM Transactions on Networking. In this work we studied how the microwave, mmWave and THz bands can complement each other in mobile blockage-rich environments.


April 2021: Our work "SwarmShare" will be presented on IEEE SECON 2021. SwarmShare is a new mobility-resilient spectrum sharing framework that can help lift the general prohibition against the mobile operations and use of the 6 GHz frequency bands in moving vehicles (cars, UAVs).


March 2021: WINGS Lab will join the UB OVERCOME team to deploy new low-cost broadband wireless networks in Buffalo, supported by NSF/US Ignite and Schmidt Future Foundations.


Biography

I am a Ph.D. student in the Department of Electrical Engineering at The State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo. I received my Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from SUNY, Buffalo in 2018. I received my Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Velammal Engineering College in 2016 in India. I am currently working under the supervision of my advisor Dr. Zhangyu Guan , in Wireless Intelligent NetworkinG and Security (WINGS) Lab at SUNY Buffalo, with research interests in software defined networking and next generation wireless networks. I worked as a Robotics AI Intern under supervision of Dr. Samarjit Das at Bosch Research and Technology Center, Pittsburgh, PA from Jan 2022 to May 2022.
