Cranberry Nut Bread
1 stick butter (1/2 c.) softened 3/4 c. orange juice Cream butter, egg, and sugar. Add orange juice and dry ingredients and grated orange peel. Stir in cranberries and nuts. Do not overmix. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 -60 minutes. Cool in pan 10 minutes, then remove and cool loaf on wire rack. Makes 1 regular loaf pan, two half-loaf pans, or 3 mini-loaf pans. Freezes well. |
