In a world of growing civic problems and social media, I worked on a project to help bring about social change. With this Android app users may take photos of bothersome sights throughout any city and post the geo-tagged photos to a public website.
As a part of Cours.ly, our team decided to develop a useful slide creation tool called presvo. The tool is used to author slides in a unique way, in an attempt to stray from the norm. The project was started during UBHacking 2012 and was strong enough to be the winning project.
Expanding my understanding of Sockets and Android programming, I have developed a simple chat messenger that allows for 5 Android emulators to chat amongst each other. This project has been useful as a proof of concept for Distributed Systems theories as well as a simple project in Android.
