This is our morning view from Ooh-Ahh Point on the South Kaibab trail. We're about 3/4 of a mile into the trail and have dropped only 750 ft. or so from the rim. You can follow the trail along the length of the ridge (Cedar Ridge) out and around to the front of O'neill Butte (the tallest chimney on the ridge) then straight out along the ridge line again till you hit a bunch of switchbacks visible at the end of; the ridge. From there the other (almost) half of the trail veers out of sight.
