Personal Profile
I am an Instructional Designer for the Teaching & Learning Center (TLC), Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs, at the University at Buffalo, State University at New York. My main responsibility is to assist faculty members to integrate technology into their teaching and research to enhance learning.
I hold a Master of Art in Humanities (MAH) interdisciplinary degree in Education and Communication Design. I'm currently enrolled in the Master of Library Science (MLS) degree program involved in the study of information technology theory and practice.
I have served as an adjunct faculty member in the School of Informatics, the Graduate School of Education, and the Computer Art department. I've lectured on topics such as the use of realism within multimedia, utilizing technology as a tool to enhance learning, web design usability, and a variety of other topics.
My interests focus on the quality of interactivity and how individuals interact with information. Interactivity creates an experience where the viewer participates, makes decisions, and takes on a leading role within the learning experience.
