End-of-Season Biking Report (2009)
(for the curious and those who have fewer better things to think about)

Total miles ridden:  3,5881
Number of involuntary dismounts (crashes):    None
Number of flat tires:  Five2
Number of dog bites:  None3

Report on the planned trip on the Erie Towpath:    I didn't get to do it this year as I planned.  I couldn't find anyone who was willing to pick me up at the destination.

Endnotes:

1.  That's further than riding from Los Angeles, California, to Augusta, Maine (about 3,300 miles total), but it lacks the killer-hills, bad weather, and the rat-race road-Nazis.

2.  I had four flats on the same bike on four consecutive days until I realized what was causing it.  Due to this and other experiences, I might be close to becoming a 'flat-expert'.

3.  Betters my record for last year.
