Conference Venue

The workshop and the HPSG conference will take place in the Center for Tomorrow (CFT), located walking distance from the various hotels listed below. The CFT is very close to the North Campus of the University at Buffalo (the CFT is building 53 in the purple area of this map). The workshop and the conference will take place in room C, D & E. Please note that Center for Tomorrow and the campus of the University at Buffalo are a smoke-free zone. Nearby ATM machines can be found here.

Arriving by Air

The closest airport is Buffalo Niagara International Airport, which is 7.2 miles (11.6 kms) away from the conference site. See a map here.

Arriving by Train

Amtrak services the Buffalo Niagara region with two train stations: Exchange Street, located in downtown Buffalo, and in the Buffalo suburb of Depew, an approximately 20-minute drive from UB’s North Campus.

Food

Coffee, snacks and a light lunch will be provided at the conference site, but not breakfast nor dinner. There are also several casual dining establishments across the street (such as Santora's, Arirang, and Blue Fire Bar & Grill), including the various hotels. Check the reviews here, to make an informed choice. Places to eat at North Campus are listed here, but note that these campus locations are 0.6 miles (1km) away. There is a shuttle servicing the Green Line, which ensures transportation between North Campus and the Center for Tomorrow. The Stampede Bus, however, requires campus ID.
