Writing Tutorial Services tutor. Conducted individual tutorials with students of all levels: taught writing strategies, provided guidance, strategies, and preparation for placement and exit writing exams. Presented workshops 'Common ESL Errors' and '20 Questions about Grammar, or "Stump the Chumps"'. Developed pedagogical handouts and corresponding lesson plans for tutorials.

Other professional experience

Spring 2009. International Student Programming Coordinator. Old Dominion University.
Within the newly created Office of Intercultural Relations, planned and implemented cultural and educational programs within Student Affairs and restructured services transitioned from International Student & Scholar Services. Developed a resource guide for current and incoming International Students to promote inclusivity and global awareness within the University campus and the Hampton Roads community as well as meet enrollment and retention goals for International Students. Supervised two graduate students directly and a student staff of about seven. Served on search committee for permanent Coordinator.
