UDATE: Franz (as he is now known) was adopted on November 5th by a wonderful couple who fell in love with "his grayness"! He now resides with another 12 year old kitty, so the two will spend their kitty retirement years cuddling together, warm, safe, well-fed, and adored.
Background: Francis is an incredibly friendly neutered male cat, approximately 12 years old.
He lived on the same property all of his life, but
unfortunately his original owner recently abandoned him there.
Francis was forced to live outdoors with very little food until the
tenants at the property began to look after him by letting him
inside and feeding him. When they moved and could not take Francis with them, he was put into rescue.
Franz is fine with dogs and other cats, likes to get his long coat brushed, he does not object
to being picked up and carried, can easily be crated, handles short
car trips very well, and is a good patient at the vets. Although he often spent most of his
time outside, he appreciated being inside for long naps.
