About

My name is Philip Mayer. I am a fourth year Media Studies student at UB. I attended ECC South campus for two years earning a degree in Communications. I then transferred to UB.

I currently work at The Chapel at Crosspoint in Getzville, NY. My roll is a production technician. Which involves, mixing audio for different ministries, such as middle school, high school, and adult environments. As well as setting up for, and running different events that occur through out the church.

The goal in doing these things, is to help support the people trying to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to every man, women, and child.

Outside of work, I am active in amateur radio, and used to set on the board of the Lancaster Amateur Radio club, in Lancaster, NY. Amateur radio is the most basic form of communication, only using radio. The main purpose of the hobby, is for emergency communication, when all other means have failed, or are over loaded. But it still is a fun hobby to be able to talk to people half way around the world, on a simple radio setup.
