About Me

I am currently currently a senior at the University at Buffalo studying cognitive science and symbolic systems.

Understanding the cognitive component of visualization and mapping in very important for a cartographer when creating maps. It is importantant to always keep the map readers perspective in mind. You want to think about how they will percieve the map, its symbology, color scheme, and scale.

Since there are many subjects to study within cognitive sciences, I decided to focus my area of study on symbolic systems. This includes the visualization and storage of data, sybmolic representations of concepts, and much much more.

In the future I hope to work as an analyst for a large corporation so that I can help to understand, visualize, and convery important current business processes, as well as future ones.
