Experience in programming and analysis. Bachelors degree in Computer Science,

Information Systems, Engineering, Math or related field. Strong interpersonal and

to, COBOL, C++, RPG, Visual Basic, Visual Age/SmallTalk. Must be legally authorized

to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis. Program and design

business applications in a hardware environment that includes IBM 9672, IBM 3090,

AS/400. Digital VAX, OS/2 and Windows PCs. Applicants selected will attend a 2-3

month Information Technology training program at Marine Midland.

Familiar with IBM 9672, IBM 3090, AS/400, RS/6000, IBM, DEC or Client/Server

Technology. Familiarity with access Control Facility (ACF2) a plus. Bachelor's

degree in Computer, Information Systems, Engineering, Math or related field. Strong

interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Must be legally authorized to work in the

United States on a full-time, permanent basis. Assist in the planning,

installation, testing and operations of Computer and Telecommunications systems that

support Marine Midland Bank's global payments and retail businesses. Provide

end-user trouble shooting for a wide array of mainframe (3090) and midrange

computing platforms including IBM CMOS processors, DEC, RS/6000 and AS/400

processors. Analyze and implement security controls in an MVS, CICS, AS/400 and

UNIX/AIX computing environment.

authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis. Design and

implement Wide Area/Local Area voice and data networks including hands-on

installation work. Provide support for Wide Area Network problem resolution.

Maintain basic network and CICS definitions. Provide debugging assistance for

network protocol problems and application development tools. Participate in the

analysis and application of operating system maintenance and infrastructure software

installation.
