IMLP - Information Management Leadership Program - Interview # 0153-13

Majors: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or other technical degree with demonstrated interests in business. Business Administration, Liberal Arts, Mathematics, Natural Sciences or other degree with demonstrated technical experience. Bachelor's or Master's Degrees.

IMLP is a key entry point for individuals who want to help create business processes that use information as a competitive advantage. The program runs 24-30 months with 4-5 rotational assignments coupled with 8 weeks of intense graduate-level courses in technology/leadership. The program is uniquely suited for people with strong technical/analytical acumen combined with broad business interests.

Assignments will typically be within one business & focus on vital business processes such as: electronic commerce, new product introduction, order, ship, bill & sales force effectiveness. All assignments will expose program participants to using six sigma methodologies to solve complex business problems. Professional/technical growth will come from exposure to the following technologies: networking design, client server applications, systems integration, web development, groupware & enterprise system implementations (ORACLE or other). Specifically, program members will attend an intensive jump-start program specializing in technical & GE leadership courses (i.e., six sigma quality, database, JAVA, & RAD).

Successful candidates will have a strong record of academic achievement, significant leadership roles, and relevant work experiences. Demonstrated analytical approach to problem solving, strong communication skills, and coursework or related experience in a programming language are required. Various Locations.
