Summary

I hold a double B.A. from Villanova University in Geography and Environmental Studies. I am currently working toward a Master's of Science in Geographic Information Science at the University at Buffalo. My current research interests include illegal gold mining, methylmercury contamination and trade networks of fisheries in Madre de Dios, Peru. I use several GIS techniques to map my research. Other academic interests include remote sensing, web cartography, network analysis, sustainable business development, hydrology and economics. I am pursuing a Master's thesis and am being advised by Dr. Monica Stephens. Regarding my industry experience, I have worked with the United Way of Buffalo and Erie County on projects related to web GIS. I interned with ESRI during the summer of 2016, within the solutions engineering division of the utilities team. I am currently seeking full-time opportunities in GIS.
