Connecting

When working off campus you should connect to the VPN
Unless you have received special instructions please connect to your regular VPN.

Troubleshooting

Problem
Network drives do not appear

Solution
  1. Make sure you are connected to the VPN
  2. In the bottom left hand corner of the screen, click on white box that says "Type here to search".
  3. Search for the "Software Center" program and run it.
  4. In the "Applications" tab of the "Software Center", click "Self Service - Fix network drives".
  5. Click the "Install" button. If you have ran this before, click the "Reinstall" button instead.


Problem
"I can't open the file because the file format or file extension is not valid. Verify that the file has not been corrupted"

Solution
Run Symantec Encryption Desktop from the start menu before try to access your files
