Thank A Teacher

High school: I went to high school in a very small and remote area near Cooperstown, NY. While in High school I excelled in many different areas including athletics, music, and academics. I would have to say my absolute favorite memory about high school was the All-School musicals, in which I would play in the pit band.

Undergraduate: In 2010 I graduated from Mount Markham, and chose SUNY Fredonia to be my new home. Of course when I first got to Fredonia it wasnít home, and I hated it. After about 2 weeks, I met the Rugby girls, and the rest of that is history. At SUNY Fredonia I studied Psychology, with a concentration in Neuro and a minor in Statistics. I am very lucky to have had the experience Iíve had at Fredonia. My undergrad has taught me that you canít just get something by not doing anything, but you must work hard for it. I was lucky enough to also be able to start an animal lab at Fredonia, and study with Dr. Catherine Creeley for 2 years. I also studied under Dr. Jennifer Dyck, on various research teams.

Graduate: Well here we are. Iíve found myself at the State University at Buffalo. Iím honored to have this opportunity, and hope to excel in the Industrial Engineering program, but I couldnít have done it without the people Iíve met along the way. We will just have to see where this road will take me next.
