About John

As a third year at the University of Buffalo, State University of New York (aka UB), John Jacangelo is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Physics and in Mathematics with an intended concentration of Applied Mathematics. John Jacangelo has been interested in science and mathematics since he was in grade school. After completing his Bachelors, John hopes to work on his Masters and eventually obtain a Doctorate in Physics. John is a member of the Golden Key chapter here at UB. While not working on his studies, John is giving back to his hometown as a volunteer firefighter. In his spare time, he is practicing for competitions with the Student Association Club, UB Academic Bowl. My Interests

These are just a few items of a list of what I find interesting:
I love to take stuff apart, figure out how it works, then put it back together.
Any chance to go outside and explore nature is a chance I will take up except when it is cold out. I like to try to get lost then find my way back home, harder to do when it is cold out.
I do some coding in python and java, python being my language of choice. I am still developing my skill set, but still like to mess around and see what I can do.
When I have free time, which is not very often, I like to make some music on my violin. I have played many different types of music, thanks to my high school orchestra director, and have decided that my favorite style of music to play is rock and roll. Not sure this is possible: then check out the Mona Lisa sound link in the links below.
